At Hawken School, between the trash from the cafe, lunch, art classes, and the FAB LAB, we produce a lot of waste. The amount of waste that we produce is unacceptable, and it is hurting our atmosphere. In fact, all over the world, we produce millions of tons of harmful waste that hurt our atmosphere on a daily basis. Although we cannot do anything to stop the production of harmful waste across the globe, we can do something about the waste that we produce. This is why I started Everyday Hero because every person can be a hero for our planet by doing simple things to help our environment every day.
